Each poster
| Tier | Odds |
|---|---|
| Rush | 70% |
| B-Movie | 20% |
| Box Office | 6% |
| Blockbuster | 3% |
| Cult Classic | 0.9% |
| Masterpiece | 0.1% |
Every reel uses these odds, your first one included: no poster is guaranteed, and every pull is independent.
Per reel
A reel holds 5 posters pulled independently. The chance of finding at least one Masterpiece is about 0.5%, or 1 reel out of 200; at least one Cult Classic or better, about 4.9%.
How pulls work
Each slot first pulls a tier using the table above, then a random title among those that carry it. No pity timer, no guarantee: your first reel uses the same odds as every other reel. A reel never holds the same title twice.
A title’s tier follows its real-world fame (Wikipedia, Wikidata): see the six tiers.
Video store resale
The video store buys back every poster for 1 T, whatever its tier. A rare poster’s real value is set at auction and in trades between players.
Tickets earned by playing
Releasing the box set of a complete saga earns 20 T, plus 1 T per title; a cycle, 10 T, plus 1 T per title. Reaching level 5, which unlocks the market, pays 50 T, once. Quests, streaks, achievements and First steps earn XP, not tickets.
Reels can’t be bought, with money or tickets: they arrive for free with the timer.
